TOP
The Six Invitational is the biggest Rainbow Six Siege event of the year and has been for five years, consistently giving us some of the best Rainbow Six Siege to be seen onstream! The one thing that I really appreciate about the Six Invitational is the huge variety in the amount of teams and the cultures that we get to see throughout the matches and the competition! Whether it be during the group stages or the final playoffs, the matches are fantastic, exhilarating, and absolutely breathtaking!
So, now that the finals for the European league, APAC league, NA league, and LATAM leagues have finished, we finally know the 16 professional teams competing in the 2022 Six Invitational! Let’s get right to it.
EUROPE:
The competition in Europe this year has not been as fierce as we expected it to be, though we do know for sure that BDS has made it! At the moment, BDS may be the best team in the world in terms of standings, and their performance at the Invitational is hopefully going to be spectacular. Natus Vincere (aka NaVi) is the second team from Europe to qualify. Doki and the boys have really put in the effort this year, pushing themselves to the top of the European leaderboard! Now, they just have to prove themselves once again at the Six Invitational 2022. Game Empire is another group taking part in the event, as they have for the past five years! This exact roster has constantly gotten into this competition, amazing!
North America:
From the NA side of things, DarkZero Esports has made it into the Six Invitational 2022! They’ve had a bumpy year, but the boys have made it! Spacestation Gaming – considered the best North American team of the year – has also grabbed a spot in the Six Invitational 2022. Other than that, we have also confirmed that Oxygen Esports will be appearing at the Invitational as well. The most surprising by far is the Susquehanna Soniqs, who have made it into the competition – not just as rookies but as one of the strongest teams!
LATAM:
LATAM is the strongest region in Rainbow Six Siege at the moment, so it makes sense that they have the strongest teams in the competition! Unlike the other regions, LATAM already has four teams confirmed! Team One and Faze Clan have both been confirmed due to the major wins they have achieved this year, as well as Team Liquid and Ninjas in Pyjamas, who have performed exceptionally throughout the year! Oh, and I must mention: Furia is in the competition, too!
APAC:
Once seen as the weakest region of them all, APAC has now been proving itself as a contender for the best of the best! DAMWON Gaming Kia is the leading team here, and the Rookie Squad has been gaining experience with each major; they’re finally at their peak going into SI 2022. Elevate and Sandbox Gaming have also made it into the competition, though I’m not sure how they will fare there, as their performances haven’t been exceptional overall!
